Suzuken was founded in 1932, and was one of the first distributors to begin expanding nationwide, taking advantage of its position as an independent wholesaler not affiliated with any manufacturer. We have continued to drive ahead our expansion, both organically and by incorporating other companies into our group.

There are two objectives behind Suzuken's nationwide expansion. The first is to provide hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other customers throughout Japan with a reliable distribution structure for ethical pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and supplies, diagnostic reagents, and other superior products.

The second objective is to become an 'information provider,' collecting information on medical practice as it constantly changes throughout the country, and providing it to customers to aid their diagnosis and treatment of patients, as well as to pharmaceutical manufacturers to aid in the development of new drugs. Being able to provide more precise information requires that it be collected from throughout the country, not just from a limited area.
