Pharmaceutical Distribution Business

Being a Community-based Wholesaler

Making ourselves indispensable to local communities

Suzuken is committed to extending its reach by establishing sales offices in all prefectures in Japan. However, another aim of Suzuken's nationwide development is to make itself more valuable in terms of its contribution to local medical services.

In parallel with its efforts to put in place a fast, safe and reliable distribution structure, Suzuken also fulfills the role of a community-based wholesaler that can provide information on medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as essential information relating to medical practice, in a timely manner.

Information dissemination capabilities

Providing timely information on pharmaceuticals is an important function of a pharmaceutical wholesaler.

Suzuken provides the hospitals, clinics and pharmacies that make up its clients with its own high-value-added data as well as drug assessments collected through its nationwide network. Our aim is to enable our clients to choose the most appropriate product for their patients from among our full lineup.

This information is provided through our sales representatives in each region, as well as through such IT-based information tools as Click-M.I and MS-Navi.

Click-M.I

Click-M.I is Suzuken's dedicated Internet site for medical professionals. It allows for searches of pharmaceutical product identifiers and drug package inserts, as well as drug interaction searches that aid in risk management at the time of prescription. It also offers other information regarding pharmaceuticals, the medical system and medical practice, including 'consultation videos' offering instruction on how to interact with patients.

MS-Navi

MS-Navi is a sales support tool developed by Suzuken that allows sales representatives to effectively provide details on pharmaceuticals to doctors and pharmacists using a mobile terminal. The system allows the sales representative to provide more objective information by sharing all relevant information, including comparisons of drugs, when explaining products.

Acting as a full-line coordinator for customers

Sales representatives do more than just provide information on pharmaceuticals. They also accurately assess the needs of each of their customers, and aim to play a coordinating role, presenting complete plans suited to particular requirements. Such plans include methods to attract patients and reduce costs as well as product suggestions.

Sales representatives are supported by a network of nationwide specialists in medical equipment and supplies, diagnostic reagents and systems to meet their specialized needs. They are also supported by professionals certified by the Japan Association of Health Service Management Consultants who provide business consultations, training and lectures for employees, and instructors for study groups.

Drawing on the Group's collective strength to provide multifaceted support for medical and pharmaceutical business startups

Suzuken has been involved in the startup of numerous medical and pharmaceutical businesses, drawing on its collective strength in the wholesale of ethical pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and supplies, and diagnostic reagents. Specialists with expertise in various aspects of starting a medical business or pharmacy provide comprehensive support that covers everything from basic planning and store design, to suggesting the proper medical equipment and providing follow-up service.
